Terms of use
Draft of October 5, 2026. These terms take effect when TERRADAR accounts launch. This English version is provided for convenience; the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Who we are
TERRADAR is an intelligence platform on Brazil’s mining tenements, operated by SHARE CONSULTORIA EM TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, CNPJ 35.708.358/0001-58, headquartered at Rua João Cordeiro, 3069, Joaquim Távora, Fortaleza/CE, CEP 60110-535, Brazil (“TERRADAR”, “we”).
These terms apply to the TERRADAR website, including the Mining Observatory, and to the system used with an account (the “platform”). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or using the platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
2. What the platform offers
TERRADAR gathers information from public sources on mining rights, their holders and the surrounding territory, and organizes it into maps, pages, deadlines, alerts and analysis. What each plan includes is described on the Plans page at the time of purchase.
The website and the Observatory can be used without an account. The map, full pages, portfolio and analysis require an account, and some of them require a paid plan.
3. Your account
- To create an account you must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
- Accounts are personal. Each seat on a plan corresponds to one person; do not share your password.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you notice any misuse, write to contato@terradar.com.br.
- On the Business plan, the purchase depends on verification of the organization’s CNPJ, a stated purpose and acceptance of these terms by an identified person.
4. Plans, prices and billing
- The Free plan has no cost and no expiry date.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, according to the option chosen, at the price published on the Plans page at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed by a payment partner. TERRADAR does not receive or store your card number.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- Price changes apply only from the next renewal and are announced at least 30 days in advance.
- We issue an invoice for every charge.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel the renewal at any time, in your account or by writing to contato@terradar.com.br. Paid access continues until the end of the period already paid, after which the account returns to the Free plan.
6. Refunds
- On the monthly plan, a full refund can be requested within 7 days of the first purchase, provided no AI credits have been used.
- On the annual plan, a full refund can be requested within 14 days of purchase.
- After these periods, there is no pro-rata refund for the current period.
7. What you may and may not do
You may use the platform to assess, monitor and make decisions about mining rights, including in work for clients, within the limits of your plan.
You may not:
- resell, redistribute or publish in bulk the platform’s data and analysis, or build another service or database with them;
- extract data in automated ways (bots, scraping, calls outside the means provided) or circumvent usage, export or access limits;
- share seats, resell subscriptions or create accounts to get around plan limits;
- try to uncover personal identification documents, cross-reference data to identify people, or use the platform to harass, discriminate against, stalk or expose anyone;
- copy, modify or try to access the platform’s code, or test its security without written authorization;
- use the platform for illegal purposes.
8. The platform’s information
- Data comes from public sources, such as mining authorities, official gazettes, federal registries and environmental and tax bodies. These sources may contain errors, omissions or delays, and we may take some time to reflect an update.
- TERRADAR’s indicators, ratings and analysis support decisions. They are not legal, technical or financial advice, do not replace a lawyer, geologist or other professional, and do not replace consulting the official proceedings.
- Before any important decision, check the information at the official source.
- The website and the Observatory show the name of the holder of each tenement, including individuals and sole proprietors, because it is public mining data. Brazilian individual taxpayer numbers (CPF) never appear. Holders can ask for their name to be hidden on the website, following the steps on the Hide my name page and under the terms of the Privacy Policy.
9. Artificial intelligence
Some of the platform’s analysis and answers are produced with artificial intelligence. They may contain errors and should be checked before use. What you ask the assistant is sent to the AI provider to generate the answer, as described in the Privacy policy.
10. Intellectual property
The platform, the TERRADAR brand, the texts, indicators, ratings and the way information is organized belong to TERRADAR. Public data remains public; what is protected here is the work of gathering, processing and presenting it. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the platform, which ends when the subscription ends.
11. Availability and liability
- We work to keep the platform online, but it may be unavailable for maintenance, because of third-party failures or for reasons beyond our control.
- We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes something essential from your paid plan, you can cancel and receive a refund proportional to the remaining period.
- To the extent permitted by law, TERRADAR is not liable for decisions made based on the platform’s information or for errors in public sources.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, stating the reason, except where the law or the safety of others prevents notice. You can close your account at any time by emailing contato@terradar.com.br.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or on the platform at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the platform after the stated date, the new rules apply.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Fortaleza/CE have jurisdiction, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings where they live.
